Yoga Day @ Trinity

Concept of the Program

International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in 2015 at KJEI’s Trinity Institute of Management & Research on campus level. An international day for yoga was declared unanimously by the United NationsGeneral Assembly (UNGA). Yoga is a physical, mental and practice originated in India. The theme of this year’s event was “Yoga for Heart”. KJ Group of Institutes enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga day, at KJEI Campus on 22nd June, 2020. Many students and staff took part in this celebration and practiced YOGA.


  1. To inculcate habit of Yoga
  2. To develop strength, balance, and inner peace
  3. Create a feeling of ease and relaxation


Mrs. Vaishali Pathak from “Sharada Yoga Math” has successfully conducted yoga for TIMR staff.  The event started with National anthem on 22nd June 2020 at 11.00 a.m.  . The introduction speech and importance of yoga day for the overall health of body, mind, society, and even our climate was explained by main event coordinator of Yoga Day, Dr. Mukti Katariya.

Various Yogasan, Pranayam, Konasan, katichakrasan, Hastapadasan, Ardha Chakrasan, Trikonasan,Garudasan, Naukasan, Halasan, Bhujangasan, Matsyasan, Kati Chakrasan, Vishnu Asan,  Shavasan,Vrikshasan were taken by Vaishali madam.

All staff & Students of Trinity Institute of Management & Research successfully celebrated Yoga day. Program was ended with National Anthem.

Trinity Management was very supportive and further encouraged the team to conduct such type of event in future also. All teaching and non-teaching staff felt overwhelmed. The Program touched deep chords in everyone’s hearts.
